• Ventura Pines Cottage is situated on 140 feet of direct Lake Michigan frontage with a large private beach and yard. There are about 15 stair steps to the huge, beautiful beach from the top of the bluff.
• Cottage has incredible views of Lake Michigan from most rooms.
• Craftsman cottage comfortably accommodates one or two families (up to 17 people) vacationing together in the 4000+ square feet of living area. 
• The main floor "great room" has tremendous views of lake Michigan from the living room, dining room, kitchen, eating nook, and screeened porch, which all flow together as one large room as they are adjacent to each other. A great place to host that special anniversary or birthday party! 
• Craftsman touches include: master carpentry and hardwood floors through out the main floor living areas, white wainscoting on walls, stone fireplaces, stained glass lighting, columns, and built in cabinetry.
• Two fully equipped kitchens, two fireplaces and two laundry rooms, one on each level.
• Main floor kitchen has granite countertops, cherry cabinetry with white island, gas stove, counterdepth side by side refrigerator with wood panels, beverage refrigerator, bar sink, wine rack, microwave, dishwasher, trash compator, recyling center, and is fully equipped. 2nd floor kitchenette has cottage style beadboard cabintry, gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and granite countertops.
• Sleeping accomodations for 17 people. Four bedrooms comfortably sleep 10 people, den sleeps 3, family room sleeps 2, and cots sleep 2, pak and play crib for baby.
• Four bedrooms are as follows: Main floor "Garden Master" has partial lake views, queen iron bed, 1/2 bath, and sliding door to patio and garden. Main floor guest room has queen bed. Second floor master suite has stunning lake views, queen canopy bed, fireplace, door to sundeck and master bath has whirlpool tub, dual shower and separate toilet enclosure. 2nd floor guest bedroom has two twin beds and one queen bed and is furnished with a nautical flair.
• 4 ½ bathrooms.
• Relax and enjoy the stunnning views of Lake Michigan from the large screened porch and 2nd floor sundeck.
• Den with French doors adjacent to living room sleeps three on pull out counch and chair.
• Game room with pool table and ping pong table in lower level. Kids love it!
• 2nd floor family room has small kitchenette and three sliding glass doors opening sundeck. 
•  Large sundeck on 2nd floor has been nicknamed the "sunset deck" as it is a favored place for guests to enjoy the beauty and nightly ritual of watching the sun set into Lake Michigan. It's also a great place for an afternoon picnic or nap!

• Large yard (1+ acres) is mostly flat and grassy and is capable of accomodating large tents for those wishing to host a wedding or party at Ventura Pines Cottage

• Special attention has been paid to privacy with interior walls being insulated and doors having solid cores.
• Outdoor amenities include charcol grill, hammock, picnic tables, fire pit surrounded by wood benches on bluff, stone patios, birdfeeders, extensive bike path system along Lakeshore, etc.
